Well, Barb is on her way.  I have cleaned up the inside of the car--not much point in doing the outside, since it's about to rain.  Most of the food is made--just two more soups and I am finished.  I may make it on time after all!

Already a deviation in the itinerary; we are going to try to swing east from Alexandria and see our cousin Niven in Smithfield.  Ham anyone???  Found a nice campground nearby that has lots of primitive tent sites, and they said we wouldn't need a reservation.  So we are all set there.

Back to cleaning, cooking and packing.
