We decided to make this a real memory trip, we had to stop at Dairy Queen regularly. So we asked Heather to guide us, and here we are at DQ in Stonington, CT. Which reminds me of further gaps in Heather's education. For example, Meadowview is me-a-dowview in Heathespeak. CT is not Connecticut, but Court! And No. Main St. Is NO Main St. what, did she change her mind???? Don't go on Main St??
Oh, well, she is actually being quite cooperative today, and Barb keeps cautioning me to be nice to her so there is no retribution
We had a nice visit at Brown. Got quite a few photos, and I will figure out how to post them when we stop tonight. Next stop is Philly. We are going to be ahead of schedule--unheard of!!-if Philly visit goes quickly.
We shopped in the Brown bookstore and found nice big heavy mugs to replace our soup bowl, so all is well in the traveling kitchen. Our packing is a little improved after reloading this morning. Time for me to have some honey baked turkey, so here's Barb.
Wonderful to be back at Brown. The students seemed remarkably polite and helpful. I could almost find my way around but there are lots of new buildings.
